What's Proposed?
These applications propose to rezone a portion of the subject lands from Urban Residential to Open Space and amend the existing Draft Approved Plan of subdivision.
The subject lands are on the south side of London Line and west of Blackwell Sideroad to the west of the Blackwell Glen subdivision. The lands form part of the Draft Approved Plan of Subdivision SD1-2009. The plans submitted with these applications show the location and configuration of the site and the proposed layout of the lots and blocks in the draft plan of subdivision.
The proposed amendments are:
Zoning By-Law Amendment
Amend the City’s Zoning By-law No. 85 of 2002 to change the zoning of the lands from an “Urban Residential 1-44 (UR1-44)” Site Zoning to a site-specific “Open Space 1 (OS1) Zone".
Draft Plan of Subdivision
Amend Draft of Approved Plan of Subdivision SD1-2009 to change the use of the subject lands from residential to open space in accordance with the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment. The change would reduce the overall number of residential lots from 111 to 72.
