Consultation has concluded
At its meeting Monday, May 31, 2021, Sarnia City Council received the Draft Climate Change Action Plan, as endorsed by the Environmental Advisory Committee and directed staff to advance the public engagement strategy for this project.
The purpose of the Climate Change Action Plan and Implementation Strategy (CCAPIS) is to identify to staff and City Council achievable and timely objectives and action items that create community resiliency and capacity to address and adapt its assets, operations and services to the negative impacts of climate change and to mitigate risks associated with GHG emissions that contribute to climate change.
Deadline for feedback on this project is now closed, and under review by staff.
