Consultation has concluded

Thank you for providing your feedback. Upon staff recommendation, Sarnia City Council has deferred the one-year pilot project for the Dog Friendly Beach. Staff will provide a recommendation in Spring 2021 that can be reflective of the new normal for Council's consideration.

Provision for dogs in any community generates strong, frequently polarized, opinions on the subject, which can make locating new dog facilities more difficult. The City of Sarnia is seeking public input on locations that would be best suited for a proposed dog friendly beach.

A report will be sent to Council with recommendations based on the feedback received.
