At its meeting scheduled for Monday, May 3, 2021, Sarnia City Council will give consideration to the adoption of a Pregnancy and Parental Leave for Members of Council Policy.
The purpose of this policy is to comply with Section 270 of the Municipal Act, which states that municipalities shall adopt and maintain a policy with respect to pregnancy leaves and parental leaves of members of Council.
Questions and comments regarding this policy can be directed to the Office of the City Clerk, at 519-332-0527, ext. 3320 or by e-mail to clerks@sarnia.ca.
Written comments regarding this policy are requested to be submitted no later than 12:00 noon on Monday, April 19, 2021 in order to be included in the final report for Council's consideration.
