What's Proposed?
Amendments to the Official Plan and Zoning By-law to permit the development of a new Sarnia District Humane Society facility on city-owned lands within Centennial Park, south of Exmouth Street at Venetian Boulevard. The application proposes to replace the existing facility to the west and include a number of uses such as indoor/outdoor kennels, outdoor catios, self-serve bathing stations, a retail store (pet supplies), a ‘cat café’ and a surgical unit to assist in procedures for all animals within the shelter.
