At its meeting scheduled for Monday, November 22, 2021, Sarnia City Council will give consideration to the adoption of the Non-Union Total Compensation Policy.
The purpose of this Policy is to formalize the City’s non-union compensation practices. The Policy ensures consistency and transparency, and will assist the City in attracting, retaining, motivating, and rewarding employees through practices that are fair, equitable, consistent, sustainable, and in accordance with the legal requirements of the Pay Equity Act and the Employment Standards Act.
